Will this work for exterior disconnect on a mobile home
Asked by Wil January 18, 2021Thank you for your question. The TSLR420CSCU does not include a disconnect. You will need to check with the local utility authority having jurisdiction for approved disconnects for a mobile home application.

I didn't notice that the panel you've had already installed in your mobile home is 200 amps, so the link provided to the 200 amp main breaker conversion kit is correct for your purpose. You'd still have the issue that the lower cover lacks a knockout for the main breaker.

Asked by Spring September 5, 2019This load center is advettised as "field convertible" to main breaker disconnect, but the lower cover panel does not have knockouts to accomodate a main breaker -- the knockouts shown in the photo only accomodate the eight branch circuits. So this load center is really only "field convertible" to a main breaker if you're willing / able to hack our a new hole in the steel panel to accommodate the main breaker. But, if you still want to go this route, you can purchase the 200 amp main breaker conversion kit (https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-PowerMark-Gold-200-Amp-Double-Pole-Main-Circuit-Breaker-Conversion-Kit-THQMV200DP). I don't know for sure, buut assume that GE offers a similar 100 amp main circuit breaker conversion kit, which might be a more appropriate size for your purpose.

will this load center handle in house load as well as outside branch circuits.
