AnswersIts an inflexible metal box. They provide a rolled up rubber/foam seal to stick to the bottom side of the cooktop before setting into the hole. The bottom of the glass top sticks up the height of the rubber/foam seal. Not exactly flush without routing out the counter top a little.

AnswersHmmm. 4 foot AC conduit and conductors provided. #6 wire I think. It is meant to permanently wire into a metal junction box, no plug. It needs a dedicated 40A breaker in the breaker panel.

I used to always watch Doraemon when I was young and drool over their futuristic appliances. Then I visited my friend's kitchen and drooled over their luxurious stovetop. Dream no more because now I got my own, out-of-this-world stove and it's backed by physics, not cartoons! I absolutetly adore it, and the kitchen is now my favorite place in my home. I am amazed at the quality that GE offers and the brand will always have a special place in my gadget-and-food-loving heart.
On a sidenote, my original cooktop cutout was too wide so I will be specially custom ordering an extra trim to support the new cooktop.
