Hi level is too noise
When I receive product, it have the gap in front of the hood.The protect of the hood is not even.The guy who install the hood for my say it have the gap but it is still work so you can call for company to get the discount. I already installed it for using even it is not good for condition of the hood.

Nice features poor quality
We purchased 3 of these. All damaged in shipment from different vendors. Damage all in the same place. None left in the market so just kept it and we’ll be looking at the dents whenever we use it. Good features and fair price poor logistical execution from the manufacturer.

Cool Bluetooth Feature
We picked this hood to match our new GE Profile range. The first unit was defective. The second replacement unit has been nice enough. The fan is relatively quiet and two level lights are a nice feature. I love how once you bluetooth pair it with the range, the lights automatically turn on when you turn on the stove top. But the build quality is a little wanting and the appearance a little too utilitarian.

Excellent Hood Features and Style!
This hood is perfect with the GE Profile Gas Cooktop and offers great style, exhaust path and features. LED lights and one touch screen are great features.

Black slate is not matte black
GE claims that their black slate color is a matte black. It is certainly not as dark as what is pictured in their photos.
See my attached picture comparing it to my matte black tea kettle. In most light I found that it has a brown hue to it, almost like a very dark “oiled bronze" that you might see elsewhere. It is dark gray at best.
Unfortunately, if you’ve gone with the black slate line up there currently are not a lot of hood options for matching other appliances.

Install was pretty easy. The hood has various knockouts depending on your application, either venting out to a roof exhaust or recirculate back into the house. Our situation is the latter, so we didn't really have to do anything special, just screw it into the cabinet. The wiring is in a junction box inside the range hood off to the right, held by two screws, it was easy to access and tie the power leads. Then you snap in the filters, two of them, we had an issue getting them to sit right and had to make adjustments in order to get them to lock the latches properly. After all of that was done, we were ready to go. The fan has three speeds, and the lights can be at 100% or 50% at the touch of a button. Then there's this ChefConnect bluetooth feature that we weren't able to use with our high-end range that's also GE, so that wasn't too big of a deal, basically when they're connected, the exhaust turns on for a set time automatically after dinner to vent. The fan on highest is quite loud but very effective at dissipating the smoke. The hood is slate but looks great with my stainless steel range and looks like it belongs there. Overall a great product and no real issues to report.
