Thank you for your question. Yes, the THQL2140 will work for your load center.
The type of sheathing on the wire will cause the rating to vary. I would suggest searching for ampacity charts online and fine the specific wire you are looking for and it will give you the proper size for 100 amp capacity or check with a local certified electrician. Thanks for the question.
Yes, #4 through #1 copper can be used.
Thank you for your question. The THQL2140 is rated for use in GE load centers. It is not rated for a Federal Pacific panel.
You didn't specify if it is a SQD Homeline or QO panel. It will physically fit in and work in a Homeline panel. However it is not an approved replacement. It will not fit a QO panel.
I know the Siemens brand breakers interchange with an ITE panel, but not sure if GE does.
Thank you for your question. THQB breakers are a bolt on version of the 1 inch wide THQL breakers, used in panels that accept bolt on breakers. The THQP breakers are a 1/2 inch wide version that can be installed in most GE residential panels.
Thank you for your question. The THQL21125P is not UL listed for a Cutler Hammer panel.
