We built our new house with an attached garage for our Class A motor home. Our contractor installed a 50 amp single outlet power box along with water and sewer hookups, and it served it's purpose for awhile. However, it was inconvenient because the breaker box was all the way across the the bay in the two car garage side. I wanted a full hookup box with 50/30 amp outlets and breakers and this fit the bill exactly. The fact that it comes pre-wired really saves time in the installation process, and the addition of a 120 volt GFI outlet with it's own breaker is a nice touch. Another benefit of having it's own dedicated breakers is that it allowed me to transfer the L1 and L2 leads in the main breaker panel straight into the buss bars and freed up two additional panel breaker spaces for future additions in the house.

its a great unit- easy to install - it could be a little cheaper though- also GE could do away with the gfi receptacle - they corrode an most campers abuse them away- but will still continue to use- cause their the only show in town- thanks Home Depot

I am happy with my RV panel order.
This product is exactly what I wanted. It shipped and arrived very quickly and in good condition via UPS. Installed easy.
I used a 6x8 treated wood post. A 4x4 won't have space for the screws.
This panel has all 3 plugs. 50/30/20 - It's worth spending the extra $40 and having all 3 just in case.
ALSO there is one Extra slot for an added circut as you can see with the extra smaller conduit going up the tree I added a Yard light.

RV Power Panel
Very easy panel. All needed was to run you power feed. I used 6/3 w/G. Connect the three wires to the Lugs. The internal wiring to the receptacles was already done by GE. Has an extra slot for an additional circuit breaker which I used to power my shed.
