Apparently the 1LU532SS is the currently sold model as the 1LU532SSP seems to be discontinued.

Answer

#2 for that length at 100 amps.

Where can I find the instructions for the wiring? There was no paper work in the box.

Asked by Tim September 11, 2020

Answer

Internally the box is prewired, it only needs supply lines and ground connected and this should be done by an experienced electrician.

Should i install a disconnect? If so what amps and can i use a AC disconnect?

This panel is a maximum of 50 amps total load. The three recepticles, 50, 30 and 20, cannot be all on, and fully loaded, at the same time. Therefore the panel should be fed from a 50 amp breaker and treated as a subpanel (i.e. needs its on ground post near the panel location (typically 3 feet or so) depends on local code. Using a 50 amp AC disconnect is ok but should not be used to open the circuit. The disconnect should only be used to isolate the power from the panel after loads are off.

The P simply designates a retail label on the package. Eventually the non P version will be removed. The both are identical items. Thanks for the question.

We built our new house with an attached garage for our Class A motor home. Our contractor installed a 50 amp single outlet power box along with water and sewer hookups, and it served it's purpose for awhile. However, it was inconvenient because the breaker box was all the way across the the bay in the two car garage side. I wanted a full hookup box with 50/30 amp outlets and breakers and this fit the bill exactly. The fact that it comes pre-wired really saves time in the installation process, and the addition of a 120 volt GFI outlet with it's own breaker is a nice touch. Another benefit of having it's own dedicated breakers is that it allowed me to transfer the L1 and L2 leads in the main breaker panel straight into the buss bars and freed up two additional panel breaker spaces for future additions in the house.

I am happy with my RV panel order.
This product is exactly what I wanted. It shipped and arrived very quickly and in good condition via UPS. Installed easy. I used a 6x8 treated wood post. A 4x4 won't have space for the screws. This panel has all 3 plugs. 50/30/20 - It's worth spending the extra $40 and having all 3 just in case. ALSO there is one Extra slot for an added circut as you can see with the extra smaller conduit going up the tree I added a Yard light.

RV Power Panel
Very easy panel. All needed was to run you power feed. I used 6/3 w/G. Connect the three wires to the Lugs. The internal wiring to the receptacles was already done by GE. Has an extra slot for an additional circuit breaker which I used to power my shed.
