A:  Hey Bob, you'd need to get confirmation from local code just to be sure but staples used in pressure treated wood need to be stainless steel. These do not meet those requirements, though we do have stainless steel staples in our Briscon staple line(SN40BSS25 and SN40IBSS20). Hope this helps!

A:  Yes you can although 1/2" staples will work better for 12/2 wire

A:  I don't know if you can use them for 12/2. I removed the nails from the plastic & inserted them the opposite way to make them work for my project. Hope this helps.

A:  Hi, you could use these for 12/2 but at that point it wouldn't be UL rated for the application. Though we do have 1/2" staples(part # PS-225BG) that is UL rated for 12/2. Hope this helps!
