60-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable Smart Edison Wi-Fi LED Light Bulb White (2-Pack)

Amazing! They really do work. I can remotely turn on a light at home from anywhere I have internet access so I can turn on a light in my uptown living room from a mid-town office or downtown coffee shop. No more coming home to a dark house in an effort to save on the power bill. I have an enclosed vestibule at the front of the house and I'll be getting one of these bulbs for that location so I can turn on the light over the front door. I read the manufacturer's note that states that as long as the bulb is in a dry location there shouldn't be a problem and I was glad to see that info. Because they are LEDs, I expect to use much less energy than the incandescent vestibule bulb I have now and for the bulb to last longer.

I really like the looks of this light! It has kind of a vintage feel to it. Getting the light set up and installed is pretty simple. You start by installing the app on the device you intend to control it with, and then turn the light on. One note that I wish they had put on the outside of the box is that these lights will NOT connect to a 5GHz modem, so if you cannot easily connect to your 2.4GHz modem, you will NOT be able to use this light. Once you turn on the light it will start flashing very brightly, while it searches for connection. This is a time to definitely not be looking at the light. Once the app has connected to the light you can turn the light on and off, and adjust the brightness from the app. You can also schedule the light as well should you feel the need.

Bright, Warm and Elegant bulb that is dimmable and will add a nice warm glow to any room. This LED bulb does not have any of the traits that we have come to know about LED. This is a nice warm light and there is no harsh bluish light. It dims without flickering and puts out a great light that is great for reading. Works great and has a great vintage feel to it.

The 60 watt equivalent A19 dimmable white light smart WiFi LED light bulb is a good value and is easy to use. From a light source perspective it is bright white. I have it installed in an ivory fixture which tones it down to more of a soft white color. The WiFi component is from Geeni brand and easily connects to your home network using the Geeni app. It then works with Google Home, Alexa and Cortana.

Geeni Smart Light Bulbs: As a Light Bulb: They deliver what they claim. 60W equivalent with 800 lumens light output sounds about right. Color temperature of 2700K is warm white and suitable for many applications. The bulbs are small and look good with clear glass (some photos show a tint but they are completely clear). Light gets distributed in all directions. As a SMART Light Bulb: It is easy to download the app and connect the light bulbs to the Wi-Fi network. Note that a 2.4GHz network is needed so if you network is only 5GHz then those will not work. Luckily my Wi-Fi is on both frequencies. It is easy to name the bulbs and group them and switch then On/Off and even dim them to the right level. I found that the dimming percentage from the app does not correspond to light output in a linear manner. For example you select 1% but it appears the bulb is dimmed at say 10% light output. Setting up automation and scenes is not straightforward but I figured it out. I searched for instructions but found none. I was able to setup the bulbs such that they start at full brightness at Sunset or 8:30pm, then they dim down to x% at 10:00pm, and then they switch off at Sunrise or 7:00am. I like the "or" option so you can have different conditions that trigger the action. The tricky part was that you have to setup the "automation" items and then setup a "scene" and select the appropriate automation items for that scene. A little confusing but it allows you to setup multiple scenes and use whatever you need for different bulbs etc. Reliability has been good thus far. I'm giving this product 3 stars (average) as I was expecting a better app interface, better instructions, compatibility with 5GHz, and better overall experience to distinguish this product from the competition. There are so many options in the smart lighting market so getting 4 or 5 stars needs something unique which these lights do not offer.

A while ago, I installed a pendant over the kitchen sink which needed an Edison bulb to look right. I used an incandescent bulb until I found this one. I like that it’s an LED bulb and saves money. My wife likes the look of it. What I really like is the ability to use the Alexa to turn it on and off. This bulb is also dimmable, but I haven’t mastered that particular skill with Alexa yet...more my fault than any other.

Typically there is not much to say about a light bulb. I mean, it is on or it is off. Right? I have several different smart devices in my home. Various different brands. These had some flexibility. They will work without having to have a hub and connect using your wifi by using an app on your phone. Since we use Alexa, we can still control the bulbs. Since I have so many other smart devices on the hub, it kind of stinks that I could not control them all from the same app. I knew that going in to this though. Overall, the dim well. They are bright. The app was easy to use and get the bulbs setup on the wifi. ***I will note that they will only use 2.4 Ghz signal when connecting to wifi. So if you are someone that has that turned off and only using 5 Ghz, may not be the bulb for you. I was able to pair them easily with Alexa to turn them on/off and dim all by voice. I really like the new look of these clear LED bulbs. They paired will with the clear glass light fixtures in the kitchen.

Super easy to get connected through the user friendly app and no hub required. This 2 pack comes with a set of instructions for connecting to the app and one for connecting to a voice control system. The instructions are clear. There are two provided methods for connecting the bulb to a wireless network. I had to use the second option after the first wouldn’t work. Once i was connected i could control the power, the brightness of the bulb and set a schedule. These bulbs put off a yellow light only Connecting to my alexa was also very easy and explained well in directions. Now i can control the power and the brightness with my voice! It’s awesome to have the capability of a dimmer without having to install a dimmer switch. The bulb has flickered a couple times and once randomly turned brighter even though it was already at “100%”. I had these delivered in the mail so i was worried about them arriving broken but the bulbs are protected well by the plastic they come encased in. There are two pieces that come together around the bulbs and putting them in the box holds them together.

When I received this product I was very excited to try it, I had heard about Smart light bulbs but hadn't had the chance to try one. I am very impressed not to mention the fact that it is very stylish with just the slightest bit of tint on the bulb and with the Edison style filaments I was very pleased. With that said the setup was slightly difficult and took about 15 minutes to do but if you follow the instructions closely it will all work out in the end. It is a very bright bulb and the ability to raise or lower the dimness of the bulb is very helpful for movies and mood lighting. You can even turn the light on and off when you are away from home much to the surprise of my wife when I tried it from work. Very happy with the item and will be purchasing more.

Smart bulb, Edison style LED dimmable. But not smokey glass, it is clear glass. This bulb will connect to your wifi via the Greeni application on your iOS or android phone. When you first plug it in, it will constantly blink at you. So have your app prepared. Once you get it recognized in the app it is easy to use and you can link it to things like Alexa or Google if you use those. The app itself is easy to use, and wasn't overly burdensome (though I dislike having an app for every smart device - this is not Greeni's fault). What is a problem of the light, is even though it was well protected the light arrived with glue on the glass. Stuff I can't get off. If this wasn't a clear color Edison style light, it wouldn't be an issue but you are highlighting the look, which is detracted from because of the glue. (This is why I removed 1/2 star). Another thing to note, the picture on the website makes it look like the lightbulb is 'smokey'. Which it is NOT. Be very clear, this is a clear bulb and not smokey. (another ½ star removed). The light it makes is good with no flickering. Its nice to control via voice. One thing you must remember is that the light this bulb is plugged into must always be 'on'. So the wifi is drawing power so the app can turn the light on.
