My flexogen hose failed after two years. This is an expensive hose and I expected it to last for many years. The water outlet side brass fitting started leaking profusely at a seam. Since the hose is guaranteed for life I submitted a warranty claim, with picture, to Gilmour and assumed that I would replace the entire product. Instead they sent me a replacement fitting and assumed I have the tools and time to fix their lifetime warrantied product. What kind of lifetime warranty is this??

Good Product
I don't think I can say too much about a garden hose, but this one looks good, seems to be well made and seems to be heavy duty as advertised. The true test will be how long it lasts in use.

Good quality & good weight
My old hose gets a LOT of sun, and hence had many exterior cracks. Additionally, it was unusually heavy for a hose. This Flexogen hose solves both of those problems. It's exterior coat is more plastic than rubber, preventing the kind of drying out you would get with a standard rubber hose. On the weight side of things, this hose is just about middle of the pack. Not unnecessarily heavy, but heavy enough that you feel the quality.
Additional emphasis has been placed on the hose ends which usually are an after thought in most hoses. The end that screws into the faucet has a hard rubber neck which will prevent crimping at the connection. But my favorite feature by far is the hex wrench fitting. I can't tell you how many times i've literally CRUSHED the far end of the hose trying to remove or replace a plastic spray nozzle that has broken. About half the time a wrench is needed as the nozzles just refuse to come off. No more crushed ends with this clever yet ridiculously simple solution!

Nice hose, no issues! It's a typical garden hose. We are using it indoors for our inflatable spa. This was the only one available for purchase in store at the end of December where I live.

Stiff ,and takes a curve. The ends worked okay but as delivered seemed kinked. Maybe in hotter weather the curves will loosen.
