24 in. 154 (12 oz.) Can Beverage Cooler in Hammered Granite with Silver Tread Door Frame

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit arrived in good shape, the packaging was done right. I got the unit out and installed the included casters, which was easy. I plugged the unit in and it cooled down VERY quick. I was surprised how fast it was. I let the unit run over night and put some warm drinks in and they were cold within a few hours. Overall this fridge works very well. Now there are a few things about this fridge that I don't care for. The most import issue I have found is with the door. You have to lightly shut the door or it will bounce off the frame and remain open. It seems as though the magnets aren't strong enough to catch the door to the frame. Same with when the kids get a beverage, we all know kids slam everything. At least the unit will alarm when the door is left open after a period of time. Another issue is with the awful blue light. It was cool looking at first but in practice it just doesn't work for us. For instance, at night when I retrieve a beverage the blue light makes it impossible to see the actual color of said beverage. A lot of products have the same logos and writing on the can, they just use different colors to denote which flavor. I have also found that in high humidity areas this unit will sweat a LOT. It will literally make a puddle from the condensation dripping off the glass door. I am also a little puzzled as to the marketing of this "Beverage Cooler" The literature makes it seem like this unit will go in your kitchen to be used as a wine chiller. This unit screams "Beer fridge in my garage" After doing yard work all day, being sweaty and dirty, reaching into the diamond pattern garage fridge to grab a bottle of wine? This is a "Beer Fridge"!

I've been looking for a garage beer fridge for a long time and most are either too big or not rated for garage life. Things were looking bleak with many items out of stock and then Gladiator introduced this model and I was sold. It promised over 150 cans of beer storage and rated for garage life and it delivers. The packaging was not only protective but super functional and made it a breeze to unpack and set up. Oh, and it perfectly matches all my other Gladiator cabinets and fits under the workbench!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time owner of the Gladiator Garage System and the Gladiator combo freezer/frigerator I was really looking forward to getting the new Gladiator Beverage Cooler. I plan on converting the freezer/frig unit to all freezer and use the Beverage Cooler for cold drinks and water. A perfect combo in my garage. The unit arrived in a large box that I placed on a moving dolly to make unboxing easier. The unit comes 99% assembled, which makes installation quick and easy. I planned on installing the casters, which are included with the unit to make moving easier. I read the instructions several times on the caster install and discovered they left out an important step that should be corrected in future printings of the instructions. Gladiator failed to note that the leveling feet must be totally removed from the cooler to install the casters. Once I figured that out, and the casters were installed I then discovered my second surprise with the beverage cooler. I had planned on placing the cooler under my Gladiator workbench and when I tried to wheel in into place it was around ½ inch tool tall with the casters installed (see photo). If I had kept the leveling feet on it would have fit just fine, but with the casters it was too tall to place under the workbench. I’ll place some shims under the workbench to make it taller so the cooler can fit. Once plugged in the Beverage Cooler works like a charm, and operates quietly. The cooler shows a really cool blue light when the door is opened. The three adjustable glass shelves pull out from the cooler for easy cleaning. 154 12-ounce cans can be put in the cooler. The unit is finished better than any other small frig I’ve owned and is a really upgrade to my garage. I can’t wait for the weekend to fill it with soft drinks, water and adult beverages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a lot GG's work benches and mobile toolboxes, and this cooler offers the same heavy gauge steel frame that I've come to expect. The weight of the material was the first thing I noticed when I tried moving the shipping box. It is a perfect compliment to my workspace. I have zero complaints and only compliments for this thing. The interface is easy to use for adjusting temperature. The blue LED lighting looks great in a dark room, and the door alarm has helped me more times than I care the mention.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I continue to be an avid consumer of all Gladiator products and have always been impressed with the quality. The Beverage Cooler was no exception and was designed, manufactured and packaged to the same high standard that I have come to expect from Gladiator. The cooler arrived via freight service and was securely packaged with foam around all sides of the unit and as protection on the glass shelves. The instructions to unpack and assemble the cooler were simple and easy to follow. The cooler can be assembled with or without the included casters. I choose not to install the wheels as I had no plans to have the cooler be mobile. Without the casters, the cooler was simple to level using the 4 adjustable legs and I was able to fit the unit underneath my Gladiator workbench. The exterior design of the unit, including the sides and the glass door, fit in perfectly with my other Premier Gladiator products. I was immediately impressed with the versality and capacity of the Beverage Cooler. The cooler has an adjustable temperature that allows the unit to keep beverages either warm or cold. You can configure the cooler to leave the blue LED lights on all the time or only when the door is open. The LED light provides just enough illumination to help you choose your beverage, plus it just looks cool! The cooler also provides a temperature and open door reminder. I found these features especially helpful given that the cooler sits in our garage. The other small refrigerators that I have owned pale in comparison to the volume of beverages that fit into this unit. Since there is no space wasted on a freezer and the shelves are extra deep, I can place a twelve pack of cans neatly from the front to the back. I arranged the middle two shelves to hold 12 ounce cans and was able to arrange over 80 cans on those two shelves alone. I used the lower and upper shelves to stack bottles of water and soda neatly on their sides. With a different configuration of shelves the cooler would also hold several bottles of wine. All in all, an incredible addition to my garage. Everyone I know is jealous of my new Beverage Cooler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This in a beautiful beverage cooler that I am using in my garage. My previous mini refrigerator did not have wheels/casters. I found it very handy to move into place with the wheels and then lock into position with the brakes. The glass front and the blue inside light make the beverages look great while the door in closed. Blue light can be easily turned on all the time, or set to turn on when the door is open. Compared to other small refrigerators, the Gladiator Beverage Cooler holds about twice as much as my previous. I like that it doesn’t have a freezer section. I had to change to a left swing. Door was very easy to change hinges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beverage Cooler was the final touch for my Gladiator garage. My friends were impressed with my garage previously, but the Cooler is truly envy worthy. I have it filled with local Michigan beers and with the lighting on, I almost don’t want to disturb the look. I love that the Cooler can handle a wide ambient temperature range (0-110 F) with a built in heater and also can be set to cool in a range for the coldest beer or the proper temperature for red wine. Temperature and Open Door Alarms are great features as well. The Cooler fits under the Gladiator Workbench and with the provided casters, you can roll the Cooler to any part of the garage or patio. I have another Whirlpool refrigerator and trust that my investment is backed not only by Gladiator’s durability but has the high trusted technology of Whirlpool’s expertise powering the Cooler. The need or want justification says you need the Gladiator Cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was disappointed that it didn’t fit under my gladiator work bench. I quickly realized that I could adjust my bench to make it fit. I flipped over the bench and adjusted my bench by about an inch. Flipped it back over and it fit!! It’s just a bit taller and slimmer than my gladiator premier toolbox. If I were to make any changes to it I would make it the same size. The fact that it’s built for very cold to very hot makes this superior to having a fridge. One recommendation I have is to wait to put your shelves in until after you put the wheels on. You will need to flip it on it’s back to put them on. I didn’t have a problem though just be careful with that. At fist I thought the wheels were too small as I could really use my feet but I just knelt down and used my hands. No problem. It has a cool blue light when you open the door and matching exterior to my other gladiator products. I highly recommend the gladiator beverage cooler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive my new beverage cooler. Since my entire garage is outfitted with Gladiator storage, it was the perfect complement. It stores quite a bit - case of beer, case of bottled water 1-1/2 cases of canned soda, case of energy drinks, and 6 bottles of wine! Although packaged well, the top door hinge was bent leaving the door slightly ajar. No problems, though, because I easily switched the door to open from the other side based on where it was going to be in the garage. The cooler came with two sets of hinges - one for each side. The shelves are adjustable and the fixed floor feet can be replaced by wheels, which I like. Makes moving the cooler easier even when fully loaded. Now i just need to find a suitable magnetic bottle opener that is worthy of being attached to the cooler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] SHIPPING/RECIEVING: - Unit arrived by freight: JB Hunt Last Mile service - Box came undamaged and the unit showed no signs of damage when unboxed - Packaging was stout: foam on all sides of the unit, including top and bottom - Box can be lifted up making the unit easy to remove and no need to cut the box - well designed SETTING UP: - Strong odor when first opening the fridge, typical of new plastic and electronics - Wheels and mounting hardware located on the lower shelf inside the fridge in a box, hinge for opposite door swing also included - All glass shelves are lined with foam to prevent breakage - Followed instructions and lowered fridge on its back to remove feet and attach wheels (I wanted the unit mobile) - Only issue I saw was that a a lower bolt wasn't fully seated - I attempted to reseat the bolt, but it looks like it was bent (see picture). Won't impact functionality of the fridge, so a non-issue for me - Cleaned the fridge per instructions (warm water and mild detergent) and cleaned the shelves the same way FUNCTIONALITY: The Good: - Shelves have a nice aluminum front edge and an aluminum bar across the back to keep bottles/cans from falling off the back of the shelves as the shelves can be slid in and out. This bar works very well (see picture) - I had to remove one shelf from the fridge in order to fit certain sized bottles and cans. You should be able to use all 3 shelves if you're just storing standard 12oz cans. If glass bottles or 20oz bottles, you'll have to reconfigure the shelves to your liking. - Wheels work well on my garage floor and two of them are locking - they aren't large wheels, so getting over obstacles (cords, hoses, etc.) would be tough - Unit is decent sized - larger than I expected (see picture next to standard fridge/freezer) - Currently have the unit set at 37 degrees (its lowest setting) - Unit cools well - have it pretty well stocked with a variety of items - even put some food items in there for short term storage with no issues Potential Improvements (none of these are deal breakers): - Power cord seems a bit short, at least for my setup. Power cord is approximately 6FT. - Sides of the shelves aren't covered/lined with anything, just finished glass - shelves could be thicker glass or the edges could be covered to make them feel more substantial I have plans to bring this outside this summer under a covered area away from the elements, and we'll see how it holds up in hotter weather. All-in-all, a great addition to the garage. Ties in nicely to my other Gladiator GarageWorks cabinets, toolboxes and appliances. If you're looking for a versatile, well sized garage beverage cooler, don't hesitate to pick this up!
