Product Details

Dimensions thermoformed panels replicate the look of tin tiles. Our 2 ft. x 4 ft. faux tin tiles are available in a white solid colored styrene which you can install as-is in white or inexpensively paint any color to match your decor. This allows you to achieve the same look as metal panels for a fraction of the cost. Time is also saved with the ease of installation because they are light weight and easy to work with, simply glue-up your ceiling and cut effortlessly with a scissors. Our panels are ready to install right out of the box, unlike tin ceiling tiles which need to be painted to prevent rusting, making these a perfect choice for your next DIY project. Why use more of your valuable time and money when you can save and it's impossible to tell the difference after installation with six designs and seven available colors, you're sure to find something you like. In addition to matte white; aged copper, black, brass, bronze, nickel and copper are also available. Plus, you have the ability to paint our panels, giving you an individual touch that no one can recreate. We've noticed the specialty finishes such as 'hammered' or 'metallic' spray paints turn out stunning. You're only limited by your imagination. This design has a 6 in. repeat pattern and looks good in small or large areas.

Q:Can you use these as a Kitchen Backsplash, behind sink & stove?

A:  These are thin plastic so I don’t think it would be a good idea to put them behind the stove. He’ll probably melt them. The rest of the backsplash, including behind the sink, would probably be OK. Note that they are intended to overlap one another and the molding of them do not allow the panel seems to disappear like the photos show. I was very unhappy with the way the overlap looked so ended up cutting off the portions of each tile that overlapped the adjacent tile, and then covered the seams with a painted wood strip. I used them on the ceiling and spray-painted them. They look OK, but I wish now I had sprung for the real metal ones. Would’ve been a lot less work in the end.

    A:  They are plastic and could be used as backsplash I think, but I would not use around a stove. Additionally, they might be hard to clean , depending on the intricacy of the pattern.

      A:  Only use for a kitchen baksplash if you're one of those hack house-flipper punks who's only aim is to make it look good until the purchase agreement is signed. These are brittle, thin plastic and should only be used in a place that will see almost zero interaction with anything once installed; such as a ceiling.

        A:  I think that you would get a lot of bowing in the space between the joists. It will stick, but look weird. You really need something solid to apply the product to. With drop ceilings, for example, it is recommended to glue the tiles to the drop in panels

        Simple to assemble, easy to cut, love the look. You can see the seams, but no different than with individual tiles. We used these so we wouldn't have to mud the ceiling that builders had used masking tape to close the drywall seams. I'd use these again in a heartbeat. The 5x8 room used 6 sheets and took about 35 minutes in total.
