In addition to; white, aged copper, brass, bronze, nickel, copper and matte black are also available. Plus, you have the ability to paint our panels, giving you an individual touch that no one can recreate. We've noticed the specialty finishes such as 'hammered' or 'metallic' spray paints turn out stunning. You're only limited by your imagination. This design has a 6 in. repeat pattern and looks good in small or large areas.

easy to install - two people are best to help align overlaps. We also found Modern Masters satin copper penny metallic paint matched perfectly - we had to leave some soffit open to allow air flow in the enclosed porch and painted the soffit to match the tiles. Super look!

We made the decision to not use the transition strips and just overlap the panels. Bad decision for a room with a 7 1/2 foot ceiling. The over lapped seams were very noticeable. In order to remedied that situation, we purchases 1 x 1/4 pre-finished fir strips and used them to create a 4 ft. by 4 ft. box look. If I did this again, I would not have overlapped them unless the install was in a 12+ foot ceiling area.

Wanted to love this ceiling tile but it wasn't happening. I knew it was plastic when I purchased it, but the reviews that suggested you can't tell and it looks like real metal kind of made me hopeful. Hopes dashed, it absolutely looks like cheap plastic. Unfortunately, this was a return for me.

They did go up but we're so flimsy it made them very hard to work with. these would be much better if they were sold in 2X2 size. Also the picture gives an impression of being a lighter color. Really they are not bronze in color but more of a milk chocolate color. I spent so much time installing these that I will not take them down but rather end up painting them. On the up side the price is right for what they are and they do provide the antique look of a tin ceiling. when I was kid my grandparents would take me to Ft Robertson, were I first saw the look.

Looks great up on the ceiling, especially with the recessed lighting. I had it installed, so can't speak to the ease or difficulty. It has a little bit of a sheen to it, so I think I will use a mat paint to dull it. Love the way it has upgraded my gross old popcorn ceiling.

Everyone who sees the remodel is shocked at what a beautiful ceiling the tiles made. Covered 60+ year-old severely cracked sheetrock. Not as simple as some reviews led me to think. Must apply more glue than suggested, especially on the edges. And ESPECIALLY where the corners meet. I suggest a white glue if you are using the white tiles. I used 1-1/2 large tubs of Henry's Acoustic Gum to apply 22 tiles. Worked great, but it is tan and showed every little blob that squeezed out or was on my finger when I touched the tile. It does wipe off easily, however. The tiles have been up for a month...I guess time will tell how well they stay up. DO stagger the tiles as suggested to obscure the seams. BE CAREFUL to keep the tiles SQUARE with each other. Even the slightest variation will cause issues further along in the project. Would do again, like in another bedroom, if the project wasn't so expensive

Made a beautiful repair to a 60+ year-old cracked ceiling that really needed new sheetrock. Not simple for an amateur DIY. Though the dots and lines guide you, the tiles do not snap together, and it takes a bit of effort to keep them all squared. If you get off a little, it gets to be an issue further along. I had trouble keeping them squared where I had to patch around my light. Also, my room is not square. The vertical tiles were the most difficult, but worth the frustration. I used about 1-1/4 tubs of Henry's Acoustic Gum for 22 tiles. It worked fine, but would have been easier if it were while for white tiles. Contrary to the instructions, you have to put a little glue close to the edges if you want the edges to lie flat ...especially where 3 tiles come together. Make sure you follow the suggestion to stagger the tiles so that your seams are not all in straight lines. Helps make them less obvious. I really like the results. Would do the same to my 2nd bedroom if I could afford it.

        Simple and stylish
I needed a fix for a peeling ceiling in a high moisture area. Light weight easy to measure and cut and simple to install. Get a good utility knife and score your cuts first. I used Locktite power grab adhesive and followed the instruction sheet that comes with the ceiling tiles. Easy and impressive I'm very happy with the results. the 2X4 size requires two people but I would imagine the smaller titles can be a one person job.

Looks great and hides ugly plaster
We are highly pleased with this product! We had a pipe leak in the bathroom above the kitchen and although insurance paid for a plasterer to replace part of the ceiling, it cracked along the repair line and never looked good so we wanted to cover it with a pressed tin look. These styrene panels went up easily, cut easily with a box cutter or household scissors and look great. This was far easier to install than we thought it would be, the panels snap right over each other in alignment at the dot-dash; it would be hard to mess that up. We used "Ceilume Ceiling Tile Adhesive" that is made for these panels, but that has to be ordered, only comes in cases of 6 tubes, and you need twice as much as they say you need, so when we ran out, we finished with "Loctite Power Grab Instant All-Purpose" (in clear) from the store. We pieced together our own fancy molding around the edges. It's important to plan the first panel piece along your straightest wall, because all the other pieces snap in without much wiggle room. If your ceiling has lots of angles and corners, order extra panels, we got 10% more but would recommend 15% so you don't sweat when you get near the end, you can return them to the store or keep 'em just in case. There were not any instructions with the panels, so we had to search online for something, but we didn't really need them, we could have figured it out. The tile pattern in Global Specialty Products Model # 209-50 repeats every 6 inches which is easier to plan than 2 feet; there were 4 x 8 six-inch "tiles" in each panel so if you cut down the middle of one panel, you can flip it over and use the other edge. Keep a dust cloth handy because when we put them on the floor to cut them, they picked up every pet hair and dust mote in the house: high static cling.

        Looks great!
Ceiling tile was easy to paint, easy to cut. Getting it to stick to the ceiling with construction adhesive was a little tricky. Had to use push pins in order to hold it in place until it adhered. But now it looks better than I expected!+

        Elegant and Looks goregeous
These tiles are simply elegant and make my ceiling look like actual pressed tin. I left them white and then trimmed them with pecan moulding. These are installed in my kitchen. Very easy to put up and trim to size even by yourself. I used clear adhesive for attaching. Pattern matches are easy as well. Each piece "snaps" on top of the other edge so line up and straight rows are simple. I only wish I could afford to do all my ceilings with this product but I do feel they are a little pricey.

Antique-Bronzed Ceiling for Fraction of Cost of Tin Tiles!
I wanted an antique-bronzed "tin" look for these ceiling tiles, but decided to save some money and paint them myself. I purchased the tiles in black and then applied a water-based metallic paint over the surface with a sponge brush. This reverse "antiquing" method gave me the results I was looking for at a fraction of the cost. If I added too much paint, it was wiped off easily with a damp cloth. Decorative moulding was added around the ceiling and recessed lighting housings were treated with a bronze metallic wax to complete the look. The tiles were packaged with care, (I had them delivered for store pickup) and none were damaged. They are easy to install, can be cut with scissors, and install tips are on the insert and can also be found on YouTube. I highly recommend Loctite Power Grab adhesive! (Purchase a box of 12 and save $$). Avoid Liquid Nails- for this job its best to have an adhesive that sets up quickly and stays put. (One tube will cover about 2 1/2 ceiling tiles (if you follow the insert's recommendations.) If working alone, make sure to have a broom or mop with a long handle to help extend your reach while you press it to the ceiling. I highly recommend this product!
