Product Details

Dimensions thermoformed panels replicate the look of tin tiles. Our 2 ft. x 4 ft. faux tin tiles are available in a white solid colored styrene which you can install as-is in white or inexpensively paint any color to match your decor. This allows you to achieve the same look as metal panels for a fraction of the cost. Time is also saved with the ease of installation because they are light weight and easy to work with, simply glue-up your ceiling and cut effortlessly with a scissors. Our panels are ready to install right out of the box, unlike tin ceiling tiles which need to be painted to prevent rusting, making these a perfect choice for your next DIY project. Why use more of your valuable time and money when you can save and it's impossible to tell the difference after installation with six designs and seven available colors, you're sure to find something you like. In addition to; white, aged copper, brass, bronze, nickel, copper and matte black are also available. Plus, you have the ability to paint our panels, giving you an individual touch that no one can recreate. We've noticed the specialty finishes such as 'hammered' or 'metallic' spray paints turn out stunning. You're only limited by your imagination. This design has a 6 in. repeat pattern and looks good in small or large areas.

Q:Can these tiles be used in a drop ceiling?

A:  They are flimsy so you'd have to glue them to your old tiles. We put these tiles in our home kitchen and in our camper as well. No problems .

    A:  They are designed for drop downs, just be aware that these are 48 1/2" long, so it wasn't ideal for my spacing, going rafter to rafter at 16" centers

      A:  If the drop ceiling is a quarter inch bigger or u could cut them to fit. Utility knife and straight edge over plywood worked best for me

        I love how my ceiling is starting to look... its partially done had to order more adhesive.

          easy to install - two people are best to help align overlaps. We also found Modern Masters satin copper penny metallic paint matched perfectly - we had to leave some soffit open to allow air flow in the enclosed porch and painted the soffit to match the tiles. Super look!

          We made the decision to not use the transition strips and just overlap the panels. Bad decision...
          We made the decision to not use the transition strips and just overlap the panels. Bad decision for a room with a 7 1/2 foot ceiling. The over lapped seams were very noticeable. In order to remedied that situation, we purchases 1 x 1/4 pre-finished fir strips and used them to create a 4 ft. by 4 ft. box look. If I did this again, I would not have overlapped them unless the install was in a 12+ foot ceiling area.

            Wanted to love this ceiling tile but it wasn't happening. I knew it was plastic when I purchased it, but the reviews that suggested you can't tell and it looks like real metal kind of made me hopeful. Hopes dashed, it absolutely looks like cheap plastic. Unfortunately, this was a return for me.
