The #6 to #10 is making the screw thicker which is higher gauge of steel. Using #10 deck screw is great for building deck or heavy duty structures.

please tell me does this box of screws come with a drill bit that can be used to pre drill holes for this screw. I am trying to build raised vegetable garden in my back yard using kiln dried lumber whick i am told is safer than pressure treated lumber and using cedar oil to coat the boards for preservation.
