A:  The QS50 is adjustable from 45" to 120". This item is available via purchase only

A:  It is infinitely adjustable between 42 inches and 10 feet. I use them to support 4' x 8' drywall on a 8 ft 2 3/4 inch ceiling when I must hang it by myself. I don't know about rental price, you would have to contact the Home Depot you would want to rent it (them) from. They're not expensive, between $30 & $35 each.

A:  Yes it works to hold crown molding. You can angle the support up to about 50 degrees to push into the ceiling corner.

A:  there is an extension piece that can be used for crown molding that works well. I don't know if it is still sold here I bought it about 8 years ago when I bought the poles back when the only choice was red.

A:  Due to the size and rigidity of the pad ( 3" x 5" ), we would not recommend it's use in this type of application.

A:  No. It can't support the weight.

A:  The model QS50 should not be used as a " Jack Post " for floor leveling. This sounds like it would be way beyond the units capacity of 110 lbs. support.

A:  i can't see these holding more than a single sheet of drywall. When putting up a full sheet I use at least 3 of these usually four. They are sturdy for what they are made for....for drywall and not much else. Right tool for the job.

A:  No. It is not that heavy-duty.

A:  Nope. This is more like an extra hand such as putting up sheetrock on a ceiling by yourself. You need to find an actual jack post.

A:  Yes, the jacking feature allows you to extend the support in small amounts.

A:  Yes. The long black lever extends a solid rod up the center of the adjustable post. You can squeeze to increase the height, as well as increase upward pressure.

A:  Yes by squeezing the hand lever at the top of the Quick Support, you are able to attain a snug fit The key is to set the quick support as close as you can to the desired height and adjust / fine tune the height with the hand lever.

A:  Yes. The last 10 inches of the pole are adjustable in about 24 steps using the squeeze handle.

A:  Yes ti does, and requiring only one hand, You squeeze the lever and jack the work up as tightly as you want, with as much or as little motion as you like.

A:  Yes it does. It is very well designed that way. You set it a few inches below your working height using teh twist collars on teh telescoping sections first. Then you get it up it up under your workpiece and with one hand, jack it up with as mush pressure as you want in small or larger increments by squeezing a lever just like a bar clamp. It really works great. It does take two hand however to release the pressure.
