For cleaning algae stains on gunite pools with a hard surface finish, the 5 in. stainless steel brush is a compact powerhouse for tackling algae and other tough stains. Its compact size makes it easy to access the hard-to-reach places - perfect for getting into the nooks and coved areas of the pool or spa. A die-cast aluminum back and handle gives this brush the maximum strength needed for the workout it was built for. The stainless steel bristles are tightly grouped together to provide durability and cleaning strength during rugged use. Do not use on vinyl liner or fiberglass pools.

          A:  Hi Toshi. This brush is specifically designed for use on gunite and marcite (plaster) pools. Removing stains from plaster by any means requires some abrasion to the pool's surface, however, this will not damage your pool's plaster.
