    A:  Hi, Eddie. No. Underground PE pipe and components should NEVER be used in a home or under a foundation with a structure on it. Please IGNORE "community answers" indicating otherwise.

      A:  The Home-Flex installation manual specifies that the product is NOT to be installed inside or under a building. It's intended for direct burial.

        A:  I used this pipe for a propane line. Propane is heavier than air, so I would suspect that any leak in a low enclosed area could potentially be dangerous. I myself would not use these connectors in any area that could allow the accumulation of gas.

            A:  No. HOME-FLEX Underground Fittings are for use on yellow poly gas pipe. These fittings are not approved for use on any other material. For our CSST we use iron Tees when needed. Fit a HOME-FLEX CSST pipe thread adapter to an iron Tee o your choice. Then connect each segment of CSST. For more info, give us a call. 661-257-3923. We are here from 8-5 Los Angeles time M-F.               A:  Yes it works with any manufacturer 3/4" DR 11 PE IPS pipe. When I installed mine - I tested it to 60 psi overnight and it held - 6 hours - no pressure change. I tested it after partially burring the pipe and leaving the fittings exposed. After pressurizing with compressed air, I sprayed soapy water on all the fittings (90 and tees). No bubbles. Purge air from line prior to opening up gas meter. Installed below ground - above ground used malleable iron pipe and fittings. I installed downstream of the gas meter. If using for home on NG lines the pressure is 7 -inches water column. The pressure after the utility provider meter is only 7 inches water column standard so testing to 60 psi is way overkill (60psi = 1663 inches of water column). It is very easy to install and comes with instructions on how to install properly.
