The HOME-FLEX underground 1/2 in. meter riser allows to safely and easily transition from underground polyethylene pipe to a gas meter. 3/4 in. male iron pipe (MIP) on the metal side for direct connection to the meter. Durable metal construction ensures no damage will occur to pipe above the surface.

Q:Do you make a riser where the 3/4 inch connector goes into the ground with the 1/2 inch used for connector to outside appliances.

Answer This Question

A:  Hi, Dale - No we don't. Our 3/4" riser has 3/4" IPS threads on the top; 3/4" PE pipe below. You can use a black iron 3/4" to 1/2" reducer coupling to make the final connections to the appliance(s).

    A:  Hi, Kyle - Yes we do make a 1 1/2" meter riser, but they're current "unavailable" on homedepot.com until their distribution centers receive current in-bound orders.         A:  Depends on local code, but 30" seems really deep for this kind of line, the metal riser wouldn't even be out of the ground. Of course, you could attach a coupler to the top of this riser and then more metal pipe.
