The HOME-FLEX Union allows you to easily and safely join two lengths of CSST. Durable, high quality brass construction provides an excellent, long lasting seal. No special tools required.
  • Very high quality brass construction

  • For use with natural gas or liquid propane
  • CSA and IAPMO certified
  • Not for use with Home Flex UNDERGROUND poly tubing.
  • HOME-FLEX Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) flexible gas piping material must be installed by a qualified installer who has been certified in the use of the HOME-FLEX gas piping system. Certification can be completed by reading the System Design and Installation Manual and registering with Valencia Pipe Company to obtain a qualified installer card. Register at homeflex.com; "Get Certified" option.
  • Some areas of the United States do not allow installation of CSST for fuel gas piping systems. It is the installer's responsibility to check and understand all codes governing the location of installation prior to installing HOME-FLEX CSST. See specifics in the HOME-FLEX System Design & Installation Manual available for viewing or download at homeflex.com.
  • CSST is generally for indoor use; however, it can be used outdoors and/or underground with very specific parameters. Please see the HomeFlex Design & Installation Manual on this site and/or at homeflex.com for details. If considering an outside underground installation, we suggest you check out Home Flex UNDERGROUND products.

A:  No. One must not mix CSST pipe from one manufacturer with fittings from a different manufacturer.

As for being to "code", all HOME FLEX CSST brass fittings meet all material and dimensional standards and should be used only with HOME FLEX CSST pipe.             Of all the brands for csst fittings homeflex are by far the worst. The seal to the fitting is one single retention ring smashed up against the flat metal seal, requiring 65llbs of pressure. There WILL BE leaks in your system using these. Additionally, if you need a replacement seal you have to buy them in a pack that only has one 3/4 set and one 1/2 set which is a total waste and upwards of 6$. I would HIGHLY recommend going with another brand like the one that loses carries.
