The HOME-FLEX Female Adapter allows you to quickly affix a CSST system to a gas source. Use to attached CSST directly to Steel Pipe. Can attach CSST either the beginning or end of a CSST system.
  • Very high quality brass construction
  • 3/4 in. diameter
  • For use with HOME-FLEX systems
  • For use with natural gas or liquid propane
  • CSA and IAPMO certified
  • Not for use with Home Flex UNDERGROUND poly tubing.
  • HOME-FLEX Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) flexible gas piping material must be installed by a qualified installer who has been certified in the use of the HOME-FLEX gas piping system. Certification can be completed by reading the System Design and Installation Manual and registering with Valencia Pipe Company to obtain a qualified installer card. Register at homeflex.com; "Get Certified" option.
  • Some areas of the United States do not allow installation of CSST for fuel gas piping systems. It is the installer's responsibility to check and understand all codes governing the location of installation prior to installing HOME-FLEX CSST. See specifics in the HOME-FLEX System Design & Installation Manual available for viewing or download at homeflex.com.
  • CSST is generally for indoor use; however, it can be used outdoors and/or underground with very specific parameters. Please see the HomeFlex Design & Installation Manual on this site and/or at homeflex.com for details. If considering an outside underground installation, we suggest you check out Home Flex UNDERGROUND products.

A:  Hi, TedD - As long as the quarter turn valve has the appropriate sized threads to mate with the female brass adapter, it should work just fine.

    A:  No. One must not mix fittings from one CSST manufacturer with tubing from another CSST manufacturer.

      A:  Hi, Todd - This 1" female CSST adapter has 3 parts: The flange nut is put on the CSST; a brass retainer ring is installed on the last valley of the CSST; and the mating part screws into the flange nut on the CSST. As these 2 main parts are tightened, the CSST engages the retainer ring forcing the stainless steel into a hard fiber gasket. As pressure increases, it folds in on itself creating a smooth end that is further pushed into the retainer ring creating the seal. Please see our HOME-FLEX CSST Design & Installation Manual available at homeflex.com / resources for further details. A "supply clamp ring" is not one of the components (unless you're speaking of the retainer ring.).

        A:  Yes. There is a replacement parts kit 11-057C. It includes a replacement retainer ring, gasket and even an o-ring for the old style fittings. The parts are in both 1/2" and 3/4" sizes. The stores that carry our CSST products will have the replacement parts kit.

          Absolutely no issues
          I redid the gas lines supplying the dryer, range, water heater and furnace with these fittings - no leaks no issues. I did use a file to smooth any burs and rough cuts before attaching the fitting. Also as indicated in the instructions you only turn the nut, not the center part of the fitting when tightening - this keeps the non-metallic gasket from being cut up by the tubing as it compresses. No leaks at all.
