Applique Wood Lacks Porosity To Adhere

Soooo Tedious!! Applique Wood is so smooth on reverse that it does not accept glue, so Titebond Glue won't penetrate and applique will keep falling off your project after 24hrs. of clamping. A real mess since Titebond Glue dried a milky opaque yellow on edges of applique. Applique must be coarsely sanded on reverse and also at spot it should adhere to. I ended up screwing applique on. Don't recommend glue or applique--time wasters.
