Product came undamaged and shipped within a weeks time. Easy to work with and went up quickly around the wall behind the bathtub. Wished we had bought more to put above shower and behind the toilet. This product looks great and painting it was easy. We would definitely buy it again.

I was hesitant in using a "plastic" product for my ceiling wainscoting project but it turned out great!
HOWEVER it must be handled very differently than wood!
I. I found it easier to pre-set the nails in the "tongue" (especially since I was working overhead).
2. You cannot use a block and hammer to tap the pieces in place as you do for wood. To avoid any issues with the groove impacting a part of the nail, I cut out a small piece on the UNDERSIDE tongue where the previous nail would be.
3. I both nailed and glued the sections in place. I used a caulk adhesive but found a quality wood glue held just as well in my tests.
Lastly, despite the waste, I chose to run the strips the short way to prevent the room from looking even longer. It was worth it!

This product is great. I used it in my daughters bathroom. I will be installing this in my other 3 bathrooms. Easy to work with, cut, install and paint. I nailed mine over the existing sheetrock, and painted it with Behr interior semi gloss enamel paint and primer. Looks awesome! I also built and installed a toilet paper and towel built ins over the vinyl wainscoting.

This product is beautiful! But it has one flaw. It dents super easy! Just while working on painting and installing tile on top my contractor dented it in 2 places. Then when he installed the toilet paper holder it got groves in it from sliding the holder onto the mounts. We have used this contractor on lots of projects so I dont believe it's my contractor. I wanted to buy the PVC wainscoting but it wasnt available in this 3ft size. Seems like it would have been more resilient. We shall see how it holds up in the bathroom. We should have just purchased MDF and put a layer of Kilz over the top! Would have been more durable and much cheaper!
