- Ultra flex flexible PVC pipe is specifically designed for use in the installation of pools and spas, ultraFlex PVC pipe is NSF certified and IAPMO approved
- Cannot use the flexible pvc pipe in dead head pressure situations. Head pressure (due to gravity) up to it's rated working pressure is okay. When the system is pressurized there must be flow in the pipe
- Made of FDA nontoxic formulation; UV and antimicrobial resistant; can be used buried or above ground; be sure to use right PVC glue when bonding flexible PVC pipe to fittings and proper time for curing
- Ultra flex PVC pipe is a true schedule 40 PVC pipe - uses standard schedule 40 fittings and PVC glue - can be connected to rigid PVC with ease

AnswerNo, use standard PVC couplers. Glue as you would rigid PVC.

Used as a discharge line running up a hill. Pressure at the pump outlet was 58 PSIG. 10 feet above the pump (53 PSIG) where this hose started, it would spontaneously spring leaks. This happened 4 times. Hose is supposed to withstand 60 PSI.

The pipe was more of a rubber material than we expected, not the same as most flexible pvc, as we are installing for a pool underground we couldn’t risk the product not holding up potentially over time so returned to the store with ease.
