Is this suitable for use with IMC conduit that will be buried in soil?
This cannot be buried.
Is this the correct connector for the flexible metal tubing with conduit inside coming off my cooktop to connect to a 4" metal electrical box to make the cooktop connect to the power source? Thanks
Thanks for your question. If you are using flexible metal tubing, the fitting you are asking about, our 1" RGD compression connector can NOT be used. You will need to use a fitting from our FLEX category that is UL approved for use with FMC. A Squeeze connector (Halex p/n 04210) or a Screw In Connector (Halex p/n 04410).
