Worked well with a grip
I used this on 43 tiles (20" square) for my media room ceiling. Each tile was 1/4" thick and I used a 1-1/2" putty knife to put 9 dolops on each tile. Tiles stuck fast, but could be moved for better joining. Could even pull the tile off and reposition up to 10 minutes after application. I would guess one gallon would cover 90 to 100 tiles. I had plenty left over.

Using Henry tile adhesive 237
This adhesive is excellent, thick and sticks right away. I replaced 40 tiles, there was no problem keeping them in place.
I don't like the odor so I have a window cracked. Personally, I'd let the smell go away before I used the room.

Low odor with excellent stick. I used a fan in the window and had no problem using it in cooler weather. Left it in the window until it dried. Used this to put up my Armstrong ceiling tiles and it worked great. Easy to spread.
