Difficult to work with in deep/thick wall application. Brittle to work with and anchor plastic is not strong enough when tightening. Needs 1/4" longer screws than provided when maxing out depth. Like the self drilling toggle for drywall only application Prefer another brand over this one. Would not buy again for heavy duty needs.

Broke in the walk during installation
The idea of these toggles is great but the quality of this particular brand’s item is unreliable. Two out of three of them broke in the wall and then just spun; I had to pry off the front plastic tabs and push the toggle into the wall. Try another brand.

Dangerous—Broke in wall when installing shelves
I purchased Toggler brand toggle bolts (from another retailer since THD doesn’t carry them) to mount shelves on a plaster wall. I ran out so I picked these up since THD is closer to my house. I tried to install 3 of these and 2 failed in the wall; so thankful it happened before my 5-yo son got crushed with a bookshelf. 8 Togglers worked flawlessly in the same wall, with the same shelves. Steer clear.

Poor quality
There were no written directions or a warning that if you accidentally break off the flimsy plastic piece the toggle is unusable.
