A:  You pick the color or you can select all the colors so it will change every few seconds.

A:  Both! the remote that comes with the unit allows you to pick a specific color, or switch between 4 modes.

A:  You can use each color individually or cycle through them either as a slow fade, a strobe or a blink. The strobe is very rave-tastique circa 1990.
