If I am putting this above the window and I am getting a 72 inch length how much space do I need above the window for this not to hang in the window? Like when it's 72 in blind is closed how many inches is that from the top to the bottom?

I bought 8 of these and they didn’t come with the block/rectangle pieces that are supposed to mount to the blind in all 4 corners. Do I have to buy these separately? Also, what do I two with the 2 plastic triangle pieces?
