This fan is wet rated which means it can withstand moisture which was perfect for our garage. We have a small home gym in our garage so you can imagine it gets pretty hot in the warmer months. The fan oscillates and provides good even airflow for the area. It can also be set to stay in place where you would like it. Mounting was straightforward without an issue. We love having this addition!

I also like that it oscillates from side to side, so the air spreads around better instead of blowing in just one direction. It feels durable for outdoor use, and installation was pretty straightforward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Floor space is a precious and limited commodity in our home. That’s true for many people, perhaps, but it is especially true for me as a wheelchair user. That’s why I was so excited to have the chance to try this Honeywell Wet Rated Oscillating Wall Fan! This fan can be mounted on the wall so that it doesn’t take up any precious floor space, which is so convenient. And this guy is quite powerful—maybe more powerful than we will ever really need, but I love that we will have the option. I received it in the middle of an unusually cold and snowy Midwest winter, so I haven’t actually been using this fan yet, but so far, I really like its range of speeds and settings. It oscillates, of course, and you can choose from three different speeds, the lowest of which is a really comfortable and gentle breeze, but if you need to really get some serious airflow, the highest level is very strong and windy. Somehow, though, it is still surprisingly quiet! I mean, you can definitely hear it, and it does get much louder at its highest power, but it isn’t too obnoxious or exceptionally noisy. This fan is intended for outdoor use, even on an uncovered porch or deck area, but I think it would be an excellent addition to a workshop or garage, too. My husband and I just purchased a new home with an enclosed sunroom, and that’s where I expect to spend pretty much all of my time this coming summer. I can’t wait to install this fan in our sunroom to help keep us cool! I love that I don’t have to worry about its exposure to moisture and other elements. Although it will be mounted in a covered and enclosed room, the full-length windows in that room will be open regularly, so I really appreciate that our Honeywell fan is wet-rated and ready for whatever the weather will throw at it. But my very favorite feature of this fan is remote control unit! Again, as a wheelchair user, a mounted fan might be great, but it isn’t really very useful to me if I can’t reach the controls. Now I don’t to worry about that because this fan comes with a remote control to adjust the oscillation or speed settings much more easily! I can even use the remote to set a timer to schedule when the fan turns off…and it’s all at my fingertips. And that remote control unit even comes with batteries, mounting screws, and its own holster! That means I can mount the plastic holder on the wall and always know where to find remote. Sometimes it’s the little details that really make all the difference. And speaking of details, this fan also comes with all of the hardware needed for safe mounting. That’s important because this thing is HEAVY and will need to be mounted carefully and correctly for safety. Overall, I am so impressed with this fan. It is just what we needed for our summer sunroom. It is super powerful, but also easy to use and maintain, even in a humid outdoor setting. Honeywell makes many FANtastic products, and I strongly recommend this one…especially for the vertically challenged and other folks with disabilities!

I'm planning to put it in a future covered garden room in my house; it's a project I have in mind, so I think this item is great because it's wall-mounted, from a very good brand, heavy-duty, and looks easy to assemble. It's made of a resistant material—durable metal—so it's very good for outdoor use! It's easy to control, has 3 speeds and two modes: stationary and sideways
