Moisture filled blisters in the paint
As others have reported, moisture leaks from liquid-filled paint blisters that pop and leave bare spots. Mine has only done it around the door frame, and it has not compromised the contents. While I do not "open the door for two hours every month" as suggested by the manual, I do keep a large bag of silica gel (which is regularly dried in the oven) in the safe to keep the contents dry. I also keep papers in sealed zip lock bags. We'll see what customer service does...

Excellent product. Easy to use and install. My first order...
Excellent product. Easy to use and install. My first order arrived with damage to the exterior of the cabinet. I returned it and reordered. Second one came in with a wrinkle in the exterior cabinet on the top rear corner. Since I was installing it inside a cabinet I accepted this unit and installed it in about 30 minutes.

Fantastic customer service!
My safe developed the fluid-filled blisters around the door as reported by others. It was not hurting anything, just ugly. The fluid was just water, not corrosive as reported by the drama queens on here. I sent customer service an email with a picture of the bare metal spots. They said that there were some safes shipped with excess water in the inert fireproofing material, and that they would immediately ship me a replacement. It doesn't get much better than that! Otherwise, a great safe!

Was a really good safe...until...
Purchased this product from Mitre 10 in Rangiora new Zealand around 4 years ago.
We are getting carpet replaced in the house so I had to unbolt the safe and shift it.
The safeit looked like there was some sort of sticky rust leaking out the door and on further investigation the outside powder coat was lifting in big bubbles full of water and rust like crud.
The same around the door two small deep holes are there (rust?)
I consider myself lucky that the contents of the safe were not harmed.. This seems to be a common problem?

Horrible customer service
I did not receive the correct keys with the safe. Contacting 'customer service' was a waste of time. Have to find someone who can lift this safe onto the back of my truck so that I can return it. I will never purchase another 'Honeywell' product.
