Contempo Seafoam Frosted 4 in. x 12 in. Glass Tile (15 pieces 5 sq.ft/Box)

Thought I could use this light to medium green glass tile create a vintage look, contractor used a high quality thin-set. Even though I picked a dark (charcoal) grout, the color looks more like a moss green or sage green after installation & drying. Definitely not the light green or even emerald green it looks like in their pictures. In the box even looked a little lighter than the pictures, to only have it totally change color. My house is old & mostly plaster walls + the waterproof layer they used, if I want to take it down, that means all of it has to come down. Ceramic tiles, waterproof layer & part of the original plaster walls would have to be torn out. Very disappointing to spend that kind of money to have it look different & not be able to change it. The local store barely has any help, let alone have samples that you can look at. If you even find someone to ask questions, they "don't know".

redid our shower and love the look of the Seafoam, only negative is glass tile in general is very sensitive when cutting, you have to use a glass blade and score the back of tile then turn over and cut the front.

The quality of the product is great but the name is misleading. It says charcoal gray. It is really a blue color. Not remotely close to a gray.

My son and I have been doing a complete renovation of the master bathroom, including a 4'x8' shower. We were very favorably impressed by this product. In all, we ordered15 square feet of the glass tile and used a total of 116 tiles. They arrived promptly ahead of schedule and were very well packaged, which is important since glass is glass. They were individually cushioned by cardboard "pads" and in boxes that were wrapped and re-wrapped in dense foam padding. No tiles were damaged and the quality of the tiles was consistently very high. Glass tiles are special: they are quite different from ceramic tile because the color is more intense and has depth -- a kind of three-dimensionality -- that only glass can give. Relatively speaking, they are a bit pricey compared to ceramic but they are worth it. We used these colorful tiles in selected areas to accent ceramic tile, which was the predominant tile in the shower. Installation was no problem, though we would emphasize the manufacturer's recommendation to use a wet saw. You cannot, in spite of whatever videos or articles you visit to the contrary, satisfactorily cut glass tile with a manual tile cutter. We tried that and always got rough cuts, curved lines, or chips. A project like ours requires a wet saw in any case, so make that investment. In short, great product, high quality, well-shipped, very pleased.

We remodeled our half bath last year. The room is now a half bath/ laundry room and the turquoise subway tiles look fantastic! The color, quality, and ease of installation is excellent! It was the pop of color we needed with all the white subway tiles.

Only bad thing is Home Depot doesn’t sell the appropriate mortar for glass tile.
