Questions & Answers

After using it in a hole can I use screws and will they stay in Wood

Asked by: Vickie
Yes, worked for me. The bottom section of the frame of my casement window had rotted, and the screws holding the bottom bracket had nothing to bite into anymore. I built that area up with this product, and once it had completely cured, I drilled pilot holes into the patched area, and drove the original screws back into place. Are holding nice and securely!

Can this product be stained? I’d like to fill a scratch on a cabinet and stain It to match the walnut. Thanks.
Asked by: Liz
Yes it ca be stained but if the scratch is not deep evough wood putty might work better. In either case matching or blending with the surrounding wood is tricky. Try out the stains first you may need to mix some stain colors to get as close as possible.
