Strong but not like steel
Maybe if I had waited 24 hours instead of following instructions that said cures in one hour it would have worked. Will never know.

I had an oil leak in the crankcase (bottom end) of my car and I imused Jb Weld to fix it. The most permanent solution would be a weld but I dont have access to a welder so for under $6 I faxed my car and got back on the road. Great product in my case

I patched a perforation on a steel pipe in my pool equipment. It works great to seal the leak and was much cheaper than replacing the pipe.

SteelStik did a great job on repairing a leak on a low pressure hot water steel pipe. Make sure the joint is clean and dry. I sprayed the joint down with a solvent cleaner to be sure there was no oil or grease. The cure time is fairly fast so you need to work quickly. Nitrile gloves will keep your hands clean as you knead the two parts together. The epoxy will get quite warm when it's mixed and starting to cure. The consistency is like modeling clay so it needs a bit of pressure to force it into the joint. It will cure rock hard in a few minutes. So far, a month later, it's holding fine.

I have an old cast iron jointer with a 1/4” thick table. It had a silver dollar size chunk broken out of the leading edge of the outfield table. I was able to make a perfect (within .002”) strong, smooth, good looking repair. IMPRESSIVE!!!

This stuff is a "must-have" at home. Fixes any kind of metal breakage, is simple to use, and is like welding without a torch.
