KwikWood is a hand-mixable epoxy putty, formulated to repair and rebuild wood. After mixing, it cures to the same density as wood and becomes an integral part of the repair. For use on exterior or interior applications, it contains no solvents, will not rot, shrink, crack or pull away. KwikWood has a 15-25 minute work life. After 60 minutes, it can be machined, drilled, tapped, sanded, filed and painted. Stronger than wood, KwikWood dries to a light tan color.
Repairs and rebuilds dry rot, knotholes, window and door frames, screw holes, insect damage, furniture and other items

Great for many things
This stuff was magic. Replaced a 1x2 inch chunk of wood broken from a bed post finial. Dries quick and is sands really smooth. It was so rock hard I had to use a dremel and files to get rid of the excess at first. 400 grit sandpaper left it smoother than the surrounding wood. You can't even tell the finial was ever broken. It will not match the wood though so I would only use it if you plan on painting the item afterwards. Had tons left. I will probably use it to make hobby items because it can me shaped or placed into a mold to take a shape much like my hobby Milliput clay. I would definitely buy it again.

Wear Gloves
I tried this product because it is not supposed to shrink. Its only been been a few days, and I don’t think it will shrink. I did mix some wood stain in it which made messy to work with.

Works great! It adhered to an almost flat surface which was essential for my project. I gave it 4 stars because it's not stain able. I got mixed information regarding stainability on it on the internet. After trial and error, it doesn't. Had to rethink my approach, after more trial and error JB Weld adhered to it. Great product if you are painting the surface.

Good for floors
Used this to fill some deep gouges in an old wood floor before staining and sanding. It filled and sanded perfectly. No issues with shrinking or crackimg even after stain/clear coat. My only complaint is stain matching. This stuff doesn't take stain well. I ended up using some stain repair markers to match the actual wood stain which worked reasonably well but after I put down the clear coat the color changed pretty significantly. I'm not taking off any stars because this was probably more my fault than anything with my selection of marker colors but just wanted to warn others to do extensive testing including clear coat before you decide on how to best match stain colors. Functionally this stuff is A+, it filled the gaps perfectly and seems like it will last forever.

Easy to use.
I fixed some cracks that were in the wood of my furniture and applying this product, the damaged superfiel was perfectly restored.
I also used it to fix imperfections in a porcelain that had broken
In the photos are the before and after.
The white slot is with the product applied.
The final finish was to paint with furniture marker the color of the chair.

If you are looking for something to fill in space, pockets or voids in wood look no more. This stuff like everything I've used with the J-B weld name on it is great. I bought it to fill in where I had removed some dry rot from the wood around a casement window. I simply took what I needed out of it's plastic cylinder, worked it with my hands until the color became uniform and packed it up into the cavity's I wanted filled. Very easy to work with and when it sets up it's harder that the wood it replace. If you look at the picture the tan behind the gray joint compound is the Kwikwood. It is also packed 3 1/2 inches up the side of the casement and I used it to fill in the cavities I dug out where the nails are. With all the products and claims out there it's easy to get frustrated looking. Save the frustration.......BUY THIS!

J-B Weld KwikWood is an excellent product. I have used it for probably 8-10 years(see picture), the dolls arms, hands, feet and ruffle on the dress are all made with KwikWood. My latest purchase was to use repairing a 60 year old bread bowl. The bottom was cracked all the way
through the bowl. I have also used it to repair a crack in siding.
