use an impregnating sealer/ penetrating sealer. If it has the word penetrating then it will work fine. HD has some good ones.

just a penetrating sealer. give it a little time to soak in and then another 3-4 hrs to dry, then grout.
Any of the marble, granite top type sealer will work fine. They all work pretty good. Anything you read about haze, dullness etc is bad application. Apply let set a few before dries and wipe excess. Apply second coat if very porous. You will know if absorbed really quick. This tile I used two coats just to be safe but probably could have gone with one

There is no bullnose for this product. If you want to finish the edges you can put one of our Carrara domes on the edge to finish it.
As a natural stone, the color and texture are continuous throughout. The edges are unpolished but I feel that this factor would not be a noticeable detraction. Personally, I would not hesitate to use it in lieu of a bullnose.
It doesn’t need a bull nose for the shower edges. You can but in my opinion it doesn’t need it.
