Its glossy glass pieces are assembled in a mini brick pattern. Combine with other mosaics and field tiles to create impressive installations. For best installation results, use white polymer-modified thinset.

DO THE TILES HAVE BLACK BLUE AND WHITE

AnswersBlack, blue, white, and gray. I used Mapei 201 Crystal Moon FlexColor 3D Pre-Mixed grout. The store recommended this grout because they explained that some tile grouts darken or can change the color of the glass mosaic tiles.

how many pieces do i need to cover 30 sq. ft

AnswerBecause the tile squares are less than 1 square foot, this calculation can be tricky. To cover 30 sq ft, I would estimate you will need 37.5 pieces. However this does not account for any additions, reductions or cuts that might be needed to surround fixtures, windows, shelves, etc. Our contractor told us a good rule of thumb is to get about 10-15% more than you think you will need to account for cut pieces, mistakes and miscalculations and pattern-matching. In your case, I would probably buy 42-45 pieces and return whatever is left over. Home Depot is very good about this and we had no problem returning our unused tile pieces once the job was completed.

We tiled our kitchen back splash with the Jeffrey Court Malibu Breeze glass mosaic tile, About a month ago. I was completely satisfied with the product it self. Out of the 28 sheets we needed for our job i think maybe one or two tiles had slight dings in them, Barely noticeable. This is a very rewarding house project. Overall, We really like the reflective, colorful nature of the glass tiles.
Since It was my wife and I's very first experience doing tile at all, We watched a plethora of youtube how to videos before we did it. I thought it was a very DIY friendly job. Just follow the instructions. and use your common sense.
Our advise for fellow newbies,
If at all possible rent or barrow a wet saw. we only used the glass nippers, which worked fine, however its impossible to get clean cuts. Also, Make sure you get Glass Tile appropriate grout and mortar.
