NO! Please don't use ice cubes to water orchids! The ice cubes burn the root and they will eventually die!
Google 'American Orchid Society' and follow their expert advice.
Put it in a jar of water (while it's still in the container) for about 15-25 minutes depending on how dry it is. Be careful not to get water between the leaves (if you do, use a paper towel to dry them the spaces off. Orchids tend to be prone to diseases but keeping the spaces between the leaves dry and using clean tools should ensure everything goes smoothly).
Yes, you can replant or repot the orchids.
Remove the plant from the pot and re-pot it in new potting soil to avoid it from root rotting. Drain the water from the used Orchid potting mix let it dry, once dried save it to reuse it later. Do not water your Orchid while it is in the decorative pot. Remove the inner transparent pot from the decorative pot and water that way water will drain out easily, set it for few mins so the water drains out completely and then place the plant back in the decorative outer pot. I leave my Orchids in the transparent pot I use the decorative pot only when there is a visitor.

Hi RJG. Thank you for your question. Yes, you can keep your orchid in a pot. You will need to avoid direct sunlight with your orchid. The optimum temperature for best performance should be between 65 F - 85 F and should never fall below 55 F. Always avoid drafts of any kind. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. The container must have hole(s) in the bottom so water can drain out. Use orchid bark mix to pot it in (not soil!). MANY excellent videos on YouTube, including from American Orchid Society on potting an orchid.
