About This Product

The K2 Jet/Tank system includes a 1/2 HP cast iron shallow well jet pump, 6 gallon precharged tank and stainless steel braided hose and fittings to connect the pump to the tank. Q:1. Does the 30/50 pressure switch have any adjustability to it? 2. Is there a decibel rating for this unit? (Some of these jet pumps are pretty loud!). Thanks -

Answer This Question

A:  RRGG - We do not have a decibel rating. However, you can adjust the pressure. Simply remove the pressure switch cap and inside are directions. Remember that if you see the words CW in the instructions, that stands for ClockWise. -GP Support

        Answer This Question

A:  Deep well water pump, This will all matter on the depth of your well. The unit you are asking for is limited to 25ft. This is classified as a shallow well, anything deeper would be a deep well. If you have further questions, please call our office at 844-242-2475. Our customer care team will be happy to review with you any questions or concerns. Thank you, GP Support

Could not get the threads to seal at the top of the pump housing. Tried multiple times using thread tape of varying amounts, pipe dope, pipe dope and thread tape - nothing worked. Not sure if the threads on the unit were compromised or what but there was a bit of weeping out of the connection that I could not stop. The threads in the housing were very rough, not sure if this had anything to do with it. I got tired of fighting it so I ended up getting another pump.
