3-1/2 in. Kitchen Sink Decorative Disposal Flange in White

Worked great until I tried to pull out/remove the strainer from the sink opening so I could put food down the disposal--- and the piece separated!! I'm not sure why it's a two piece part rather than a single functioning unit, but the black hard plastic piece on the underside was stuck in the sink. I had to pry it out of my sink drain with a knife since there was nothing to hold on to in order to pull it out (since it doesn't have large openings to enable food down to disposal, it's a bit if a problem being stuck there, even if I can reinsert the upper part and close off the sink to fill with water, it blocks the disposal) --I wrote the company and included pictures of the two pieces, inquiring if this was normal. They said no, not at all, and didn't hesitate to send me a new one. Very responsive, very professional and helpful--BUT the new one arrived and yup, did the same thing, separated when I pulled it up....I suppose they can keep sending new pieces, but what's up with the design? 100th of a mm too large in diameter or??

Our gasket fell off into the disposal and was destroyed. We are looking to find a replacement gasket? We really do enjoy our sink and matching hardware!

Easy to install and perfect match to the karran sink we bought.

This did not adapt to my garbage disposal. I'd like a refund, please.
