Another great Klein tool. This screwdriver is an electricians best friend when working in live breaker boxes. The insulated shank prevents accidental shorts that in a high voltage circuit breaker panel could end in serious burns or much worse. This driver has the perfect head for reaching deep into a box to secure wires to circuit breakers and neutrals to ground bars. A must for any electrician's tool kit by the premier makers of hand tools.

This is a good driver when you need that bit of extra reach and are working in an environment where you need the insulation. I had a slightly shorter klein driver of the same series with the same tip. But this one gives me a little more reach. When you are working on something buried in a box this can be nice. The grip is a little smaller than my other divers but I presume that helps keep the size down a little while still giving the extra reach. You’ll get all the torque you need with the cushioned grip. It’s that grip on the klein drivers that makes them my favorites. It don’t hurt that they are built strong to hold up to the job. It’s a good combination of comfort and toughness. You just can’t beat these.

This is a nice insulated screwdriver, the tip seems to be made of good quality metal and does not deform or bend easily. The insulation on the screwdriver shaft is made of decent plastic and seems as it should hold up well. The handle has a nice feel and good gripping surface, I would have liked the handle to be just a little bit longer. The screwdriver tip is about 3/16" wide, the shaft length is about 7" and the overall is 10 1/2" The rubber portion of the handle is about 1 1/8" diameter and about 2 1/4" long. It says that it is insulated to 1000 volts (I didn't test that) It does say that it is made in USA! All in all I like this screwdriver and it seems as it will hold up well.

This KLEIN TOOLS 3/16 IN. INSULATED CABINET-TIP FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER WITH 7 IN. ROUND SHANK- CUSHION GRIP HANDLE is a great addition to my toolbox. Most of the length of the screwdriver is insulated and the very end of the handle has a easy-to-see pictorial of what angle the flat tip is pointed in. This way when you are reaching back inside an outlet, you know where the tip is so you can match it up to the screw head. It also has a good feel in the hand.

Another excellent high quality tool from Klein tools that is Made in the USA. This well constructed tool made of high quality materials features a very comfortable soft handle as well as a long 7 inch reach. Even though its not made from metal, because it's insulated, there is no bend or give in its shaft because of its quality construction. I also like that the shaft is bright orange which makes it easy to identify. I anticipate that this tool will serve me well for many many years.
