I would say Yes. As long as the other display like cell phone or tablet or PC are within the transmitting range of the wifi signal sent by the Klein Boroscope and the other display has the Klein boroscope app indtalled.

                      Really low quality camera
I’m an AC technician and purchased this to inspect the inaccessible parts of AC units, but the camera quality is so bad you cant make a good judgement on any of the pictures it takes. (See sample picture) The long wire of the camera also makes it difficult to orient the picture frame correctly. Also to connect to the camera you have to disconnect from any wifi you might be connected to, which is just something to consider.

This is a kit that works well for basic video inspections in limited access spaces. No focus required. Nice size works well for allowing portability in a variety of situations. Comes packed in a nice nylon zipper pouch that can hold the camera and more. The Wi-Fi transmitter/controller includes a belt clip to free your hands. The built-in lithium battery is recharged via a standard micro-USB port and a cable is even included. However, there is no power adapter so use one from your smartphone. Easy to follow instructions allow you to get started quickly. Large rubber buttons can be activated via touch without looking. Downsides; No app settings to allow saving videos or pictures on anything other than internal memory (no SD) or cloud options. Maximum video recording time is 2 minutes. Handling the cable/probe shaft is awkward, you will get frustrated in the beginning. My Suggestions; Turn off smartphone screen auto brightness. It can make adjusting the built-in probe lighting difficult. Practice using the camera in several different situations to become familiar with handling the probe and the app before trying to diagnose something. Put a marker dot or strip on the end to indicate the top of standard image orientation. You may want to turn off Automatic screen rotation on your smartphone too.

Great 0.35 inch (9 mm) diameter wifi inspection camera with 640x480 resolution. Comes with a hook and a carry case. You will need to download an app - they are available for iOS or Android (see pictures for the iOS app). Connection was quick and easy - it generates its own wifi signal, so you just have to go to the wifi menu and select the wifi source (mine was called "KT-Borescope"). Then go back to the app and you will see the camera image. The iOS app gives you three simple choices for settings - 640x480 or 320x240 resolution, 20 fps or 25 fps, and max video time slider that goes from 15 seconds to 2 minutes (2 minutes being the longest continuous video). Resolution is good. Please see the image I captures of a quarter in front of an inch ruler. The brightness can be adjusted from the app or from the buttons on the handpiece. There is no screen on the handpiece (that's what wifi is for!!). Having the images or videos on your phone makes it very easy to share - after you have turned off the Klein wifi...

This is my first inspection camera, and I wished I had got one long before! All the inspection cameras I had looked at before were not Wi-Fi enabled, so I did not want to lug something around that bulky. This is nice and compact, connects easily thru their Borescope app to my iPhone, and gives good picture/video into places you can’t get at easily. Case in point: on a recent trip my RV sprung a water drip and there was no way to easily tear things down to see what was going on; however with this I was easily able to get the camera to where I needed it to see how much of a problem I had (turned out to be loose PVC threaded fitting). Since then I have used it to look inside my dryer vent to ensure it was clean, and behind a wall to look for an electrical wire. It comes with a removable hook for retrieving items as well. Charging the unit is easy: just plug the provided USB to micro USB cord into a wall charger or laptop and you are on your way; do know that the initial charge takes some time (mine took about 3 hours to come to full charge) but it seems to hold a charge well. The on-board LED lights make seeing into dark spots easier, although the brightness of the light, while supposed to be adjustable, seems to be pretty insensitive (really seems to be bright and dim (or off), with no noticeable increments in-between, at least to my eye). The gooseneck is easy to control if you attach the unit to your belt or have someone hold it (the gooseneck is 6 ft long and if you don’t, the body of this unit will flop around). The ability to see, take pictures, and collect video from the unit on my iPhone is nice, but you will need a phone stand or something similar for maximum usefulness. The app is easy to use, but to take pictures or video you have to physically touch the screen on your phone (having a button on the unit itself would be nice). The camera has two resolutions: 320 x 240 (which is too grainy to be of use) and 640 x 480 (which gives acceptable pictures and video). You can also set the maximum video recording time from 15 sec to 2 minutes, so once you start the video you don’t have to touch your phone to shut it off. Some drawbacks: first, the camera end of the gooseneck has a ‘lip’ that tends to act like a scoop, and will pick up dust and dirt and has to be cleaned sometimes in the middle of use. Second, the cap that covers the USB charging port does not stay closed, so this could be a problem in wet or really dusty environs. Third, the body of the unit has a molded plastic clip that holds well on my belt, but not so much on my pocket. Finally, the camera is supposed to be waterproof, but the manual it comes with is vague about this; I suspect it is (Klein doesn’t usually say something if it has not tested it), but this is something I did not test. I have no doubt it is water resistant (this I did test). If you are looking for a reasonably priced inspection camera, I recommend this one. Do be aware if this is the first time you have used one, there is a learning curve on manipulating the gooseneck, especially at longer distances. It can be frustrating at first but it won’t take long to get the hang of it.

I would gladly recommend this product to any plumber or electrician or contractor or even the average home owner while doing repairs to any room this product allows one to see into any wall so not to damage and plumbing or wiring while doing said repairs. The light lets you see in dark areas and the camera when connected to your phone will let you take pictures and videos to send to anyone, this is not for wet areas this product is not water resistant or water proof so use in dry areas only.

This is my first borescope but not the first time I have looked at them. I’m mixed about one that uses a phone for a display. There are some definite pros. The big one being you typically end up with a better quality picture (for less money) and can easily use your phone to transfer videos and snapshots. On minus side you have 2 things to handle while using it making it a little more awkward. I may fabricate a bracket to attach my phone to it. But for now I just had someone hold the phone. I also have one of those suction cup phone holders I could stick somewhere to free up phone hands. The camera head is very small so you can get this into some pretty tight spaces (like the one in my photos). I had to slip it into a very tight space to look inside a wall behind my shower valve to see if I had a water leak in the wall. I found it dry fortunately so saved cutting a big access hole on the back side of the wall in a closet for nothing. The app for it was super easy to download and get working. I had that working in less than 5 minutes from starting to look for it to having it working. It’s very simple to use. The light on it seems pretty bright and I was able to get a decent look inside my wall. The probe is long and easy to flex yet stiff enough to hold shape. Because it is so long you can end up with a fair amount of extra to deal with but better that than having it too short. All in all this stacks up well against borescopes with attached displays when you consider the price. It’s Klein so you know it is built solid. It worked well for my use and I have zero doubt I will find many uses for it. I know I’ve had countless times where I said I wish I had a scope right now. The carrying case is a nice addition and it is built with typical Klein ruggedness. The only criticism I might have is no included charger (just a cable). But it uses a standard micro USB charger and I have many of these around the house so I don’t have to look hard to find a charger. So I did not deduct a star for that since I figure everyone has chargers in abundance these days. In all likelihood the charger you use with your phone will work with it (unless you have an apple phone).

                        None.
No app available in the App store for this model so cannot pair it or use it. What a complete waste of money. I know Klein tools are probably one of the most expensive brands going but this puts it right up there with utter rubbish.

                          No working apps for Android
Unbelievable that is still sold despite that the Klein app does display any images just a black screen. Does not work with any current version of Android, has not been updated in years. Can't find any other apps that work with it. Sad
