No. This transformer is not compatible with North American 208V ~ 240V.

Answer

It should work fine, but keep in mind, the transformer only converts the voltage, not the Hz cycle which is determined by your local power company (60 Hz in North America - 50Hz in UK). For the most part, people don't encounter any issues.

I have an european sewing machine 220v 105w. Can i use it?

The ULT350 should work fine for this application.

I have 220/240v this traditional bread maker from back home. Can I use this convertor in order able to use the grill?

Asked by Nani August 26, 2020

Answer

There is not enough information here to answer this question. If the breadmaker is made for single phase 220/240V AND is less that 350 Watts including startup surges and can operate on 60Hz then yes, it would work.

Answer

The answer is most likely no. The transformer is not compatible with North American 220V appliances.

Is this compatible with German/European plugs?

Asked by Chanse June 19, 2020
1
Answer

This transformer will convert the voltage so you can power your appliance in North America, but please note the unit converts the voltage, not the Hertz cycle which is determined by your local power company/source. As long as your appliance can operate on 60Hz you will be fine and it will work normally with this transformer. The unit itself has a built in German/Schuko style plug as well as a UK style plug.

I have two 200w 110v AC garage lights I need to power with my 120v home supply - would this transformer do the job?

Asked by Shawn June 13, 2020
1
Answer

No, you do not need a transformer for this application, and this unit would not work anyway as it converts from American 110V to Foreign 220V and vice versa

Asked by Cole June 7, 2020

Answer

No, this is not the correct tool for the job and is most likely not compatible with your tub unless you were trying to power it outside of North America.

Will this work with a 230 volt window ac?

Asked by Frank May 27, 2020
1
Answer

The answer is no for 2 reasons, the unit is not compatible with North American 220V appliances, and a window AC is usually much larger than 350 Watts.

It came with a plug for 230 and for 115. It was as simple as toggling the voltage input to 115 and plugging it in. Now I may use my appliances from another country and they won't smoke and blow fuses.
