4.7 cu. ft. Smart Single Electric Wall Oven with Fan Convection, Air Fry in PrintProof in Stainless Steel

This arrived by home delivery and the process was perfect. They delivered it on time with text notifications along the way. I have had many LG appliances and I am continously disappointed. This was undamaged and well packaged for starters which is good. It is heavy and built to specs as detailed. I am not pleased with the overall quality for the price. This isn’t true stainless steel as a magnet sticks to it which it should not. Time will tell but I have had too many electronic issues in the past so I hope that this oven proves me wrong.

I chose the 4.7 cu. ft. Smart Single Electric Wall Oven with Fan Convection, Air Fry in PrintProof in Black Stainless Steel to use in my kitchen remodel. I really wanted an oven that would help me clean the clutter from my kitchen counters and this oven does it all. The fan convection helps to get the perfect cook to any dish and the air fryer is amazing with all of the wings I cook for football games. I absolutely love the no smudge, print free front of the oven, which helps keep everything new and clean looking, even when you are in a hurry. The easy clean feature is amazing and I believe everyone will love this oven!!

I can now breathe a sigh of relief. I’ve been needing a new wall oven for a long time and am thrilled beyond belief to get this gorgeous LG smart oven that’s also an air fryer! I knew I would have to modify my cabinet to fit this wider oven but that turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. With help I lifted the oven onto two steel sawhorses to test the fit into the cabinet opening. After that I was pretty much on my own due to the holidays. My wires were 25 years old so I was a little worried about the wiring, but that turned out to be a lot easier than I thought too. Red to red, black to black, white and green to the white and ground of the junction box. I was so happy when I heard it beep because I’ve never done wiring for an oven before. The oven is fully assembled. The instructions say take the door off but I didn’t do that because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to put it back on and it close properly since I had to modify my existing cabinet opening. No problem installing with the door still on. I have a smart home but this is my first smart wall oven so I read the included owner’s manual. Also comes with an installation manual. When you first turn the oven on you’re guided to set the clock. Next test the broil mode, then you test the bake mode. It goes into preheating status. During preheat you can actually hear a small hum and a fan, which I find odd. After baking the oven goes into a cool down mode. This actually took a while. There are too many features to mention all but some of the features I really love are scrolling marquee with animated icons, digital display, remote start, delayed cook time, timer, trilingual, preheat alarm, warm mode, favorite mode, and air fry. It also beeps at each press of a button. To use the smart features download the ThinQ app. Some great app features are scan to cook, monitoring, firmware update, and my absolute favorite is the smart diagnosis, not that I’ll need it much, but it certainly is an awesome feature to have. I also love the self cleaning mode. Overall this is an awesome wall oven and I now have several LG appliances. Great looking with a modern, sleek blue interior. The lights on each side are very bright and the oven appears to be well built. Certainly easy to install, which I was able to do solo after getting lifting assistance. You can also install it flush mount and it comes with a bottom trim piece. Only time and repeated use will truly attest to this oven’s true capabilities and reliability. Uses a standard 25 watt oven bulb and it’s easy to change. 1 year warranty. Enamel interior.

When it arrived it was in its box and well packaged, and since it was installed by Home Depot, they do everything fast, take the old one out and replace it with the new one. We really like how it looks and how great it works; it has a lot of benefits going to a smart appliance, we have an LG Fridge and now the wall oven, the next thing to get is the LG Smart Induction Cooktop. As for how the wall oven looks, it looks great, it has a nice Black Stainless Steel finish and the other option is the Stainless Steel. When it’s off it looks modern, elegant and sleek with its smoke glass and when the lights inside are on then it lets whatever is inside be very visible. The inside has a nice blue shinny finish so we can clearly see the food and right in the back it has the fan to get the air going all around. It comes with two shelfs that can be adjusted in height depending on what we are heating up. The soft touch is amazing, there are no buttons to push, just soft touch the glass that is all it needs for it to work and speaking of touching, it is easy to clean away anything on it. As for the functions, it has plenty, it has the convection bake and roast, and since the big fan in the back works well, it does its job well by doing it even. There are no more spots that are not done as well as the other side, and best of all it does it faster. The Air Fry function also does a great job with minimum or no oil used, due to the fan in the back; it makes the oven heat faster and do its job faster too. It is also Smart, using the ThinQ, it is easy to control the oven and best of all we can do it from anywhere. I can see my TV, Fridge and Now my Wall oven on the app and I can control them all from it. To setup is very easy, add device on the app, scan the QR Code and it walks you step by step on how to set it up, all you will need is the Wifi information. Also we no longer have to wait for the oven to finish, or even keep things warm; it can be done from the app. And it is super smart because I can use my assistant to do so as well, either Alexa or Google. The app also lets you know when to clean it by giving diagnostic information. To clean, just spray water inside and press the EasyClean button and it will clean itself. Overall, it looks elegant, beautiful and it is smart too, making our kitchen much better, this is another great product made by LG.

Should have stayed with GE. Have had for a month and the oven works okay, but the controls are extremely difficult to see. Should have back lighting on them. No, it does not meet my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice oven. However, I was not aware of the need to run a self clean cycle before using. Thus, the first time I used the oven smoke was awful. I then ran the self-clean twice . The next time I used the oven the smoke was minimal but still some. The biggest complaint I have is that the monitor screen with all of the settings options is very hard to read. It is black and is not backlit so reading the "buttons" is difficult. It should be illuminated in some way. However, the oven works beautifully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice oven However, the only issue I had was not being informed to do a quick clean before use. The first time I used the oven, the smoke/smell was awful. I ran the quick clean twice, scrubbed the wire shelves and wiped the inside carefully after cleaning. The oven no longer smokes, but, was very alarming at first. The only other issue I have is that the control panel is not lighted in any way and is, thus, hard to read when securing the settings. I wish it were backlit or written in a lighter color lettering.
