Can you remove old phone jack leads and place them into the back of this model and if so how do y...

AnswerHi , Thank you for choosing Leviton. If you are asking about phone cable that is going through the walls of the house to the old phone jack, then yes. You can remove the phone cable from the back of the old jack and then terminate it to the back of the 40249-T, assuming that the cable itself is not damaged.

I wanted the plastic not the oversized vinyI wall jack that would match my electical outlets. I could not find this lt almond wall jack anywhere locally. Worked great and matches the other outlets in our kitchen remodel.
