The NightEye Wireless Enabled Alarm with Snap-on Compact float feature-packed with a new super-bright LED alarm ring, low basement temperature warning, and even comes with auxiliary contacts for connection to other home security systems. This high water level alarm system is designed for use in Sump Pump applications. The alarm system comes standard with a 9-Volt battery back-up to enable continuous water level monitoring, even when the power is out. A built-in battery monitor alerts the user when the 9-Volt battery needs to be replaced. It features NightEye wireless connectivity and connect to your wireless network by means of an Android or iOS device. This system can provide peace of mind about the status of your sump pump system even when you are not home.

Q:Can I install this on the copper water line to tell me if the backup water pressures pump is going off?

A:  I think you misunderstand the way this product works. The pictures shows the sensor mounted on a pipe because it is typically monted on the pipe that discharges water from the sump. It does not sense the presence of water in the pipe. It senses water on the outside of the pipe. Again the pipe is just one of several mounting postibilities. Thus as I am understanding your question. No it would not work in that application. You want a devise thast messures flow not water level.
