This pump is about all I can find for my unusual application. It is to handle the drain from my espresso machine. I had to buy a second pump when the first one died. It turned out it was just the float switch that went bad on the original pump after only 6 months. Now the pump doesn't run as long as it used to after being triggered by the float, so water sits in the reservoir all the tiime.
The first pump I bought was dead on arrival, so I am now on my third. I am grateful to have replacement parts now if something else goes wrong, but I am not deeply impressed by this unit. I would welcome a better quality alternative, but haven't seen anything else on the market.
