As for the long run: tile is a sturdy material, however grout requires regular care to keep its look and integrity long term. Does the shower pan come with a pre drilled drain hole or can you drill the hole to match the location of the existing drain
This product listing is for a set of Utile walls and it will not include any sort of a shower base. The Utile walls do not have any pre-drilled holes for faucets or plumbing fixtures, but instructions for making those holes will be provided in the installation manual. All of MAAX's compatible shower bases will come with the drain hole already made in the shower base, so you will need to check the drain location for whichever base you select to make sure that your plumbing lines up with the drain location before ordering and installing any of our shower bases. Can you cut/trim?
Unfortunately, no - you cannot cut or trim the Utile walls in any way. Only acrylic glue-up walls can be trimmed to fit your opening. All direct-to-stud wall systems (such as the Utile walls) cannot be trimmed or cut down in any way.
