A: Hello GM and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen 2-Handle 3-Hole Roman Tub 10 in. Center Rough-In Valve - 1/2 in. CC Connection can be installed in a minimum finished deck thickness of 1 ¼” (32mm) and a maximum finished deck thickness of 1 3/8” (35mm). We would suggest our 4792 Adjustable valve which can be installed in a maximum finished deck thickness of 3 3/8” (86mm) and a minimum of 1 ¼” (32mm). Roman Tub Valve

Due to the construction of the jacuzzi, it would have required ripping up several ceramic tiles in order to insert the new valve, which would have ruined the appearance of the unit. I therefore returned the valve for credit to our local Home Depot store for credit.
