About This Product
Flamingo ceiling tile is a painted affordable ceiling tile that enhance your decor with a recessed look. It put more style in any room as it will accommodate all type of existing rail. You can also use the Wall Design Ceiling tile as an accent wall and feature tile, the only limit is your imagination.

Are these tiles moisture resistant? Looking at installing them in a basement bathroom to match the rest of the ceiling. Thanks
hello, they are not moisture resistant
Hi, MURdesign’s tiles and panels are not water resistant and are very sensitive to moisture as they are made ofwood fiber panels. It is not recommended to install them in bathrooms or as a backsplash in a kitchen. To give them the best possible conditions, the relative humidity must always be between 30% and 50%. Regards
Are these tiles acoustic
Hi, MURdesign’s tiles and panels have acoustic characteristics similar to those of gypsum. They are not designed to soundproof a room. Regards

Going to be doing a drop ceiling in the basement. I'll need to cut some pieces along the outer edge. Will I need a separate border panel?

Does this product retain heat from the ceiling or do I have to buy the insulation separately and put it on top
I installed this product in a basement room with pre-existing insulation in the floor joists so heat transfer and acustic properties were not a concern to me, and in my opinion are not part of the design of this product. However, I am extreemly satisfied with these tiles and have recieved many complements about their appearance. Unlike acustic tiles which are made of compressed fiber and can crumble, be hard to cut accurately and marr easily these tiles are made of a wood product and are durable, resistant to marring and cut very accurately on a table saw with the recommended blade. Cut lighting with a hole saw.

Do these tiles come with built in led lights
No
No however I installed LED wafer lights in them using the appropriate sized hole saw. I am extremely happy with these ceiling tiles and the overall result. I think they look great and I am impressed with the durability; no flaking, no marking. The tiles cut easily on a table saw with fine tooth blade. Noise isolation was not a concern for me and I don't think these tiles would be the best for sound dampening.
I went to place order and the 2' x 2' flamingo ceiling tile is out of stock. I am about 2/3rds complete of swapping out old basement ceiling tiles. Any idea when it might be back in stock? Ceiling looks great - bigger project than I expected but well worth it.
