A: If the surface is clean and dry, the adhesive is very strong and the shield can be used immediately. To be completely secure, I applied a silicone sealer along the edges. That's my option though.

A: Sit's on the tub, BUT your tub MUST have a 90 degree corner !! This product wont work if the corner is not square !!

A: It sits on the top edge of the tub, preferably on the center line of the tub's edge.

A: I used it on a Walk-In shower pan and placed it directly on the top of the pan. I would suggest placing it on the top of the tub near the middle to ensure any water flows back into the tub.

The splash guard works as expected. The lower mounting bracket is slotted which allows for the upright to tilt (if necessary) to accommodate for a wall / tub that aren't exactly at 90 degrees. I cleaned the surface with soap using a scrubby and then with isopropyl alcohol as directed. I mounted the bottom bracket first. I peeled a small section of the backing tape off to position it and then pulled off the rest. I did the same for the upright section. The adhesive seems quite strong. I did *not* opt to caulk around it. If I had to come up with one complaint is that I would have liked for the guard to be a little higher. I took off 1 star for that. All in all, I'm happy with it.

Wanted a quick, easy solution to prevent water damage to the bathroom floor and wall. Used the large splash guards on a small shower stall as the shower curtain alone wasn’t able to prevent splashing. Very easy to affix. Completed the installation with silicone bathroom caulk to nicely finish it off. The bathroom has remained splash free.
