yes
this is 110v tool and the first one I ever bought. I find it excellent for tight places.
Yes
Yes, and no. The Makita angle drill handles bits with up to a 3/8" shaft. It is powerful enough to auger holes but it may not "buzz right through" as you wish. If you allow the drill to work without forcing it, it will do the job. If speed is indeed your primary concern, and you have a lot of holes to drill as you say, you might do better to buy a 1/2' contractors right angle drill. Some models do not cost that much more. I will say, having both types, that my contractors drills gather dust while I reach for this Makita all the time. It has more power than a battery powered drill and it is small and light enough to get into places where conventional drills cannot. I have yet to find a job where it is over-matched.
It measures 3 inches from the back of the drill to the tip of the closed chuck jaws. About 2.5 inches if the chuck jaws are fully open.
No
Says Made in Japan on the side of the drill.
It comes with the handle that can be screwed onto either side of the drill or not used at all.
