Dear Chris, We apologize, but we are unauthorized to provide installation recommendations within this department. We recommend reaching out to an installer or contacting your local Home Depot store for further information regarding installation.
Sorry, the floor is down but we are awaiting the built ins to be installed, then we will be cleaning the floor! The floor with a dark gray grout is beautiful! I’ll send a photo when it’s all finished!
I would stay away from grey cabinets. This tile has a tiny bit of brown undertones as well. I tried using it with cararra marble and had to remove the marble as it made it look really brown. It is grey but it is a tricky grey. Not sure this helps but here are a few photos. The first one is the marble (that we removed) as it made the floor look really brown. The second is a smaller bathroom that we decided to install once we say it in our bathroom. Has a white vanity (don't look at counter that is going to be changed) and the white makes it look grey. If you are convinced grey is the way to go, I would buy a case and dry next to the vanity so that you can see it next to the vanity. Greys are tricky. Good luck! I really do love the tile!
Valued Customer, It would be your own personal preference if you want them to be close in color.
I used this as flooring and absolutely love it! Not sure if they have a bullnose for it but I highly recommend using it as flooring!
Cat, No it does not have a matching bullnose to the tile.
Light grey
Delorean grey looked great. It blends with the tile and doesn't make the grout lines stand out which is what we preferred. Get a couple tile samples and then get the pre mixed delorean, try it out and see what you think.
Bucky, Grout color is a personal preference. Good luck with your project.
We used delorean gray, but we think it may be a little too light and silvery, so we probably should have chosen a slightly darker gray.
There is minimal texture just like the grain of wood and where the knots are in the tile. We have it in our kitchen in a herringbone pattern and love it. It’s not pitted like some tile.
It has quite a bit of texture, and looks a lot like real drift wood. It's a really nice tile. We just laid about 1000 sqft.
Yes it has a slight texture to it. It is subtle but definitely enough that it is not a slick tile. We used as flooring in our basement and the texture gave it a bit more warmth, but it definily feels like tile, not like wood or faux wood. Picture is accurate to the way it looks and we were very happy with the way it turned out.
It has a very subtle texture, accenting the real wood look.
It does have little texture to it.
It has a very slight texture similar to what you would expect to feel from real driftwood. We chose this tile because of the texture - a lot of wood-look tile has a very rough and grainy texture, and this is nice and smooth against bare feet while maintaining a "natural look" quality to it.
It has some texture.
There is no brown n ‘this tile. Gray and streaks of black.
Valued Customer, Dapple Gray is lighter than the Dovewood; The Dovewood has more gray in it. Good luck with your project.
Looked at it at my local Home Depot. One of the stores in the area didn't carry it, but two of them did. Don't know if there are actually samples available at the stores. I bought four or five tiles of each of the ones I was looking at, set the tiles down in my house and decided which one I finally wanted. Took the others ones back.
Valued Customer, A flooring specialist at your local Home Depot would be happy to show you a sample of this product. Good luck with your project
